ODLA VOICE OVER 2.0 is the version designed to support people with visual impairments and specific learning disorders (SLDs).
It works with MuseScore through ODLA PLUGIN and provides customizable voice guidance in Italian, English and French to support orientation and digital score reading.
The keyboard includes two dedicated Accessibility keys that help users identify their position and read information within the digital score.
Compatible with Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and Mac with Apple Silicon processor (macOS Sequoia and later).
Accessibility on Windows and macOS
Some operations—such as creating a score, adding instruments, saving or exporting—use the original MuseScore menus. When required, these menus can be navigated with the screen reader available on the computer, such as NVDA on Windows or VoiceOver on macOS. The screen reader can then be turned off while writing with ODLA.
On macOS, some initial score-setup steps may require assistance, depending on the accessibility support provided by the installed MuseScore version. Read the important notice for visually impaired macOS users.
Scores can also be transferred between compatible notation applications using the MusicXML format.
